Do I need to show a cookie banner?
No. KeepAnalytics is cookieless by design. Daily visitor estimates use a salted hash of browser family, language, and timezone — it never touches cookies, localStorage, or any browser storage, so no consent popup is required.
Will ad blockers block my tracking?
Not in first-party mode. Add a proxy rewrite so /core.js and /r on your domain forward to KeepAnalytics. The browser only talks to your site — indistinguishable from your own requests.
What exactly does it track?
Pageviews, daily visitor estimates, bounce rate, top pages, referrers, countries, devices, browsers, and UTM campaigns. No session recordings, heatmaps, or user profiles — ever.
How is bounce rate calculated?
A session with only one pageview is counted as a bounce. Computed server-side from your event data — no client-side timers or additional tracking events needed.
What is the revenue estimation feature?
You set a per-visitor value in site settings (e.g. €0.60). KeepAnalytics multiplies that by your visitor count to show an estimated revenue card on your dashboard. A simple planning tool — not a payment integration.
